We had a great time at the Alaska Food Festival and Conference last weekend! At Wild Scoops, we care about using local products and connecting to our local food system, and this was a great event to meet all sorts of people doing exciting food work across the state. In this picture I'm with Evie of Evie's Brinery and Kyla of Arctic Harvest Deliveries.These two inspirational women were in my Small Food Start-Up class a year ago, and it's exciting to see how all of our businesses have launched and grown since then!
The event was filled with chef demos, workshops, baby goats and tasty food! Thanks to the Alaska Food Policy Council for organizing!
