Flavor from the Vault: 907-PBJ

Welcome back from the vault - 907-PBJ! 

A big staff favorite, 907-PBJ is back! An homage to the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, it features a sweet cream base, chunks of peanut butter cookies, and a swirl of homemade wildberry jam (a mix of blueberry, black currant, raspberry, lingonberry, and others). When we first made this flavor, we used Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop's amazing peanut butter cookies! They are so delicious, we thought they made an amazing compliment to ice cream. This time around, we decided to make our own peanut butter cookies - we think they turned out really tasty! 

907-PBJ!

As we celebrate 10 years of creating ice cream for our community, we have been bringing back one flavor from the vault each month, starting this past July and running through next May! We have collected flavor suggestions from our customers, our staff, and Adventure Club Members. It brings back so many memories hearing which of our flavors you are reminiscing about! 

Since the inception of Wild Scoops, we have created over 350 flavors! Many of those have come through Adventure Club (you can see the full list here!) while others have come about throughout the year. A few were inspired by our box of dreams which existed in the Downtown Scoop Shop on E St when it first opened.
