It seems like every day comes with changes and new uncertainty.
We know that ice cream has a special ability to provide physical and emotional nourishment, and we hope to be able to provide a bit of uplift in these challenging times.
For now, both Scoop Shops will continue to be open Tues-Sun, 12-9p, though we will be pausing our sit-down services as per the 3/16 Anchorage emergency order. We will continue to have take-out options to enjoy in the comfort of your home (or car?) -- pints, ice cream sandwiches and our scoop menu.
We’re communicating regularly with our staff about the situation and closely monitoring advisories from the CDC and local agencies.
For the past week, we’ve been taking our cleaning and sanitizing to the next level, sanitizing high contact surfaces like door and freezer handles every 30 minutes. We’ve removed self-serve spoons and water, and our staff will provide upon request. We thank you in advance for your patience as do all we can to minimize risk for our community and look out for our employees.
We encourage customers to pay with credit/debit card over cash, and to maintain spacing between yourself and the next person in line. If you’re not feeling well, please stay home and come visit us when you are feeling healthy.
