During my first few years of launching Wild Scoops, I drew a cartoon every day -- it was a form of journaling and debriefing, and now that we're six years in, it is fun to go back and look at them. I'll be sharing some periodically on the blog.
Here's one I drew a few months before Wild Scoops even launched, after one of our informal tasting sessions with friends. It hit home the idea that, when it comes to ice cream, everyone has an opinion! And is eager to share it! And, unfortunately...the opinions usually contradict other tasters'. As a chef, you have to have a bit of a thick skin because you'll never please everybody. You can solicit feedback and look for themes or trends, but you also have to trust your own palate!
